Oh no, I'm in the B-52s!

Oh. Wait. Scratch that. I'm a B-52.

What military aircraft are you?

B-52 Stratofortress

You're a B-52. You are old and wise, and you absolutely love destruction. You believe in the principle of "peace through deterrence" and aren`t afraid to throw your weight around.

Kudos to Liz B for one of the strangest quizzes I've ever taken. I think my results may have been affected by the fact that I said fascism was the most effective form of government (given the choice between communism, fascism, and "pure" democracy). Dude, it's an honest answer - they didn't ask what was the BEST form of government, or the most noble. You gotta admit, when you oppress an entire population and bend them to your will, it's pretty damn effective.

I chose communism and still ended up a B-52. Maybe it doesn't give other results.

Ditto communism!!

I had a conversation about this with someone whose father was an American in China in the 40's -- the guy to which I spoke was about 56, and had been raised with this mindset that China = Evil. I said that Communism was effective... And WHOA, did I get fireworks.

And like you said, nobody asked about most noble or anything. I said EFFECTIVE.

Incidentally, I'd love to be in the B-52's. Just for the bouffants.

Okay, after actually taking the quiz, and not just thinking I would have answered communism, I find I'm a ...F/A-22 Raptor

You are an F/A-22. You are technologically inclined, and though you`ve never been tested in combat, your very name is feared. You like noise, but prefer not to pollute any more than you have to. And you can move with the best.

I'm so not up with my aircraft; have I even ever heard of this!?

Well, being a Raptor sounds cool. I think that's what Liz got.

I also chose Communism, and ended up being the FA-22 Raptor.

As to the most effective: my legalistic mind asks, "in terms of what?" I would have chosen "pure democracy" in terms of the most effective means of oppression - after all, people are doing it to themselves that way, rather than it coming from outside. I chose communism because it's the most effective in other ways (they have the best mafia, for instance, and the highest rates of alcoholism - sounds like an effective system to me!)

I am a C5-Galaxy, which seems to be the most boring of all the military aircraft. The description says that nobody likes it because it is big, clumsy, and prone to falling apart.

Wikipedia: "The C-5 requires an average of 16 hours of maintenance for each flight hour."

Still feeling a wee bit overweight, are you, Neil?
